Landmarks of the World: Three-Part Cards

Description

Three-part cards are a classic Montessori tool, used to build vocabulary and aid children in learning new information about a topic. In this set, children explore landmarks of the United States as well as those around the world. There are many ways to use these cards including playing memory, matching words to pictures, or playing a “Go Fish” style game. A favorite in the Playful Learning studio is to match a set of landmark figures to the ones pictured on the cards.

The world set includes the Arc de Triumph, Big Ben, Buddha, the Colosseum, Easter Island, the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Parthenon, Pyramids, the Sphinx, Stonehenge, the Taj Mahal, the and Temple of Inscriptions.

The United States set includes the Alamo, the Empire State Building, Hoover Dam, the Liberty Bell, the Lincoln Memorial, Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, the U.S. Capitol, and The White House.
