Giving Thanks
Description
Work gratitude into your daily conversations with children by asking them to give thanks for the people and things that are a part of their daily routine. Discuss being thankful for friends, family members, and teachers. Remind children that while we can be thankful for material things (like toys, stuffed animals, games, and books) it’s also important to be thankful for kind gestures, compassion, love, the beauty of nature, and friendship.
